Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Chinook is licensed by the state of Washington (UBI # 602 196 112). We are bonded and insured- our liability insurance limit is $2,000,000. Chinook also has a Generals Contractors license with the State of Washington (CHINOPH981J6)
What type of credentials does Chinook have?
Chinook is a certified firm of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC), a non profit certification body that sets and promotes high standards and ethics in the industry. Chinook employees have attended numerous professional training courses and received certification in carpet cleaning, Upholstery cleaning, water restoration, and the on-site cleaning of Hunter Douglas and other fabric window coverings.
Chinook also is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
What is your pricing philosophy?
Our prices are competitive, but you will be able to find other firms that charge less then we do. Too many firms provide a low-ball estimate, then play the 'bait-and-switch' game when they arrive in your home to begin the project. Chinook doesn't compete on price alone. We charge fair, honest, and transparent prices.
How do I pay for your services?
Chinook accepts checks, cash, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). Payment is due at the time of service unless by prior mutual agreement.
Is your service guaranteed?
Yes. If we don't meet your expectations, Chinook will come back and re-clean the item(s) or area(s). Of course there is no charge for the re-clean.
What method do you use to clean carpets?
After reviewing several methods of carpet cleaning including steam/hot water extraction, Chinook chose the Von Schrader Low Moisture Soil Extraction System. Only this system applies a dirt-emulsifying dry foam, brushes it thoroughly into the carpet, and removes both foam and dirt immediately before it can sink back into the carpet. Because only foam containing 10% moisture is used, your carpet is ready to use in an hour or so. There is no danger of water damage to your carpet, padding, or sub-flooring.
How do you clean fabric window coverings?
Chinook cleans fabric window coverings on-site in your home, without take-down or reinstallation. We use a machine and techniques developed by the On-Site corporation of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. The privacy/security issues associated with the removal of your window coverings are eliminated when you use Chinook for cleaning your fabric window coverings.
What other services does Chinook provide?
We clean oriental rugs, area rugs, upholstery (home, autos, motor homes, boats, etc.), and windows. Chinook also cleans pool tables, lamp shades, fabric wall partitions, and much more.
